JOB SUMMARY

Sr. Business Analyst with strong experience handling multiple projects and managing information systems. Knowledge of Oil & Gas applications and the ability to work with the business to help them improve their processes and systems. Requires P2 Merrick and Flowcal experience.

Job requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design solutions using modules to meet business needs
  • Conduct requirements gathering with business users
  • Configure solutions in the Merrick systems, perform unit testing, integration testing
  • Perform design, coding, debugging, testing and implementation tasks for the computer programs and systems
  • Develop and implement program documentation
  • Advise on changes in technologies and the associated impacts to processes
  • Critical problem-solving skills - able to troubleshoot and provide quality solutions to business users problems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Work closely with the business
  • Be able to cope with multi-tasking assignments
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Team Player, responsive, organized
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Provide customer support
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Transact SQL
  • SQL Server/Oracle Functions and Stored Procedures

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree, or a high school diploma/GED

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Minimum 10 - 15 years of operations and development experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting, and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame-resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Percent of Travel Required: Less than 5%; Travel may be required for mandatory meetings or training.
