IT Field Services Operations Technician

Position Summary & Duties: The IT Field Services Operations Technician position is an onsite position working for Oil & Gas client in Port Neches, TX. Candidates must be within commutable distance of Port Neches, TX.

IT Field Services Operations Technician Responsibilities:
• Participate in the daily operations and support of IT Field Services.
• Provide on-site deskside support as well as remote assistance to associated client sites when applicable.
• Take full ownership of Service Requests and Incidents, ensuring the delivery of IT services as part of the team.
• Support local business applications and mission-critical servers/infrastructure (e.g., File & Print, Network, Phone System, Access Control Systems, local HR, etc.) both during and outside traditional business hours in collaboration with vendors and client functional roles.
• Operate client end-user support processes and manage information in accordance with Customer Service procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Provide both remote and deskside support, acting as the primary point of contact for IT service requests and incident resolution within the agreed service levels.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for IT-managed service partners.
• Manage relationships with vendors in client IT roles to collaborate and resolve escalated incidents and requests.
• Provide local site training to users on standard desktop and local applications, acting as a representative for client initiatives.


Qualifications:
IT Field Services Operations Technician Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of broad knowledge and experience in the following areas:
o Endpoint Management in an SCCM environment (imaging, deployment, and software distribution)
o M365 Suite (Productivity Apps, Outlook & Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, M365 Mobile Apps)
o Windows File Sharing and Print Services, Enterprise Antivirus Deployment & Support
o VPN Connectivity & Related Technologies
o Industrial label printers (e.g., Zebra, BRADY, etc.).
• Candidate must be within commutable distance of Port Neches, TX.
