IT Project Manager - Case Management

An employer is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team. This is primarily a remote position, but this person should be able to travel to Hartford, CT as needed. The IT PM will assist the department with analysis, planning, research, procurement, design, development, testing, and deployment activities associated with a federally funded Care/Case management modernization project. The IT PM will be responsible for managing the scope of the project including required integration work, development of procurement documents, evaluating proposals, and tracking and managing project financials. This resource will be coming in at the beginning stages of the software vendor being selected, and they will develop and maintain the project management plan for this case management system upgrade including related planning and related communications. They will need to identify how each evaluated case management system component meets the prioritized business needs, supports interoperability with Medicaid systems, and identify integration requirements. They will work directly with stakeholder groups to gather requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the deployment of case management solutions. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have exemplary communication skills.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
Domain experience within Health & Human Services, familiar with case/care management systems
Acted as the Project Manager over a large scale software integration/implementation effort
Ability to manage vendor, stakeholder, and technical team relationships
Familiarity with state and federal health compliance standards including HIPAA, HITECH, or related standards
