JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the strategic development, oversight and execution of effective marketing strategies and customer facing creative tactics to drive company growth, mitigate churn, and ensure that customers are clearly informed of impacts to their service.

Manage projects from inception to completion. Work both internally and with external agencies to execute a wide range of creative tactics covering current customer programs and initiatives (e.g., equipment swaps, service transitions/updates, etc.). This role is on-site, Stamford (combination of 4 days in-office and 1 remote day).

As a Project Manager on the Marketing & Creative Strategy team, you will e xecute on marketing plans and create marketing tactics for specific campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams across the company in partnership with the Marketing Communications team.

WHAT OUR PROJECT MANAGERS ENJOY MOST

Successfully manage the execution of those plans, lead the creative messaging/communication strategy, and flawlessly execute creative that supports those plans/strategy. Plans and creative supporting these efforts vary from simple bill messaging to complex, multi-year initiatives.

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gains consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and alignment with overall brand standards/practices.

Develop creative brief(s) and lead agencies through creative process on integrated campaigns that extend across various tactics supporting Marketing Communications.

Create, write and implement select tactics internally, including e-mail, direct mail, bill messaging, sales support, etc.

Keep team apprised of potential risks and other key nuances which may impact projects.

Responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work against competing deadlines and stakeholders.

Performs other duties as requested.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-5 years of project management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills:
    • Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write and speak English.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
    • Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal instructions.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
    • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.

Strong writing and proofreading skills required, for use both internally and for the development of customer facing materials

Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate

ideas and feedback in a constructive way

Must possess a high-level of proficiency in PowerPoint and all Microsoft Office applications

Ability to make decisions and resolve problems while working under pressure within tight timelines/turnaround time

Ability to conduct formal presentations to all levels of management on issues or findings in assigned areas or subjects

Ability to efficiently manage resources and prioritize tasks

Ability to think creatively and strategically

Highly developed capacity for teamwork and a strong focus on the customer

Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues/effectively work across a matrix organization
