Responsibilities

  • Assists the FSU Med Client Management team with MEDID management. This includes user account creation and maintenance utilizing Active Directory and FSU exchange.
  • Assists the FSU Med Client Management team with Windows 11 deployment and management. This includes creating and maintaining an imaging environment for deploying computers. Assists with maintaining deployed computers and ensures they are secure and healthy endpoints with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Assists the FSU Med Client Management team with macOS computer deployment and maintenance using JAMF MDM.
  • Assists with AV support that includes classroom lectures and conference room meetings. Also assists with live and special events hosted by FSU Med.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to four years. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of collaboration technologies such as RTMP, H.323, SIP video conferencing, Video on Demand (VoD) and Live Streaming.
  • Knowledge of wireless display technologies like AirTame, ScreenBeam, etc.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.
  • Knowledge of applicable computer software and operating systems to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize audio and/or video recording, mastering, and editing techniques.
  • Ability to document existing and new processes.
  • Knowledge of current media technology and trends.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of event planning and ability to coordinate, organize and evaluate meetings and/or events.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and enterprise account management, including LDAP.
  • Knowledge of information technology security measures.
