Who are we looking for?

The role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the current IT infrastructure, applications, and communications, primarily for the Waterbury site, but also serving other sites in the region as required.
The candidate will be responsible for continuation of day-to-day operations and work closely with the helpdesk, global infrastructure application, and program management teams to resolve issues and implement future enhancements on supported sites

What will you be doing?

The role includes ticket handling, desktop support, WAN, LAN, telecom, servers, storage, network infrastructure (switches, routers, etc.), desktop support, virtualisation, security updates and patching and application delivery platforms including local MES systems

Who are You?
  • 2+ years Desktop/Network support work experience
  • Understanding of business processes
  • Fluent English is essential

  • Windows desktop and server experience required.
  • Productivity Tool experience - Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to non-IT users
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Manage change effectively (Change Management)
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and hands-on approach
  • Strong drive with the ability to make things happen. Comfortable in a dynamic environment.
