A large media client is looking for a L2 Support Engineer to support the PST time zone. This person will learn about the news gathering process, have direct exposure to production engineering technologies for a major television network, and shape how technology will enhance and optimize them going forward.
A customer-focused individual who is a technically curious, a hands-on troubleshooter adept at prioritizing issues and working under the pressure of an on-air deadline will thrive in this environment.
This role encompasses a focus on virtualized production infrastructure and production software critical to on-air applications, requiring hands-on 24x7x365 support for applications infrastructure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize technology for a major television network.

Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical applications.
* Proficient in agile, Github, and ITSM tools like Auto Now Service Now.
* Experience troubleshooting a broad range of applications, desktop & mobile operating systems, brow , etc.
* Must have experience working directly with software development teams in a Continuous Delivery and SDLC environment
* Knowledge of a broad range of enterprise technologies
* Ability to review and interpret application, infrastructure, and service logs
* Should have basic knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)
* Knowledge across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
* Knowledge of NoSQL data stores (MarkLogic, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, etc.) a plus
* Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.
* Must be willing to work evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays with little or/no notice in support of 24x7x365 critical system availability
* Must be willing to travel on an as-needed basis
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience within a News or Television Production Environment / Media & Entertainment a major plus
* Familiarity with AWS services and cloud providers is a plus.
