Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Field Engineer at our facility in Houston, TX, to troubleshoot, test, maintain, and/or commission solutions using Siemens Energy generators, switchgear and transformers to satisfy industrial customer requirements or solve problems.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Carry out technical inspections, commissioning, troubleshooting and start-up of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment such as gas turbines for electricity generation and steam turbines under simple cycle and combined cycle schemes.
• Perform power system analysis studies and protection relay injection testing.
• Fault find, service and commission generators onboard offshore vessels.
• Fault find, service and commission transformers onboard offshore vessels.
• Fault find, service and commission MV & LV Switchgear onboard offshore vessels.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience.
• Full term of experience must include: Turbine Controls;
• Siprotec Relays;
• Transformer Service;
• Generator Service; and
• Switchgear Service.
• Experience must also include: AVR controls.
