A local financial organization is seeking a Loan Operations Manager that will sit hybrid as needed in Columbus or Marion Ohio for this full time role. You will be responsible for managing the Loan Operations Department of the Bank and supporting the lending functions of the bank. This team is already well established and the management tasks should only take about 20-30% of your time on a weekly basis. The other 70-80% of your time will be spent processing commercial loans. This includes but is not limited to processing, servicing, customer service, reporting functions and accounting related needs. You will be expected to design and administrator processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing, leads, training needs and supervises the operations staff to meet strategic goals. Youll also be the liaison with other bank departments to ensure integration and support is bank wide and establish a positive working relationship across the organization. Expertise in Commercial loan documents, Freddie Mac, loan operations and servicing, and core system are essential.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years banking experience focused in lending
Strong commercial lending background especially with SBA, and commercial real estate loans
Experience with loan processing software strongly prefer nCino but will accept alternatives such as LendIT, LoanPro, LoanDynamix, Finastra, Sageworks, Encompass, Turnkey, (all loan documents are moving from shared drives to nCino)
Experience with Laserpro or Wolters Kluwer
Ability to drive changes and hold the team accountable

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Some college background strongly preferred, business or related degree is a plus.
Supervisory and management experience
Salesforce CRM
