As a Maintenance Supervisor you will:

Swing shift: 1pm - 9:30pm

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will:

Leadership:

- Ensure team training and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Oversee career development and performance reviews.
- Handle disciplinary actions and select top talent.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Manage weekly staff meetings and ensure smooth shift turnovers.
- Provide timely updates on company and department news.
- Communicate effectively via email, phone, or in person.
- Present information clearly to teams and management.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with safety programs and training.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Report any food safety issues to the manager.
- Accurately manage time and attendance.
- Plan work schedules and assist with labor needs.
- Manage work orders and interact with vendors.
- Order parts to support maintenance tasks.
- Train, advance, and evaluate the maintenance team.
- Improve maintenance processes to eliminate waste.
- Supervise daily maintenance activities and job assignments.
- Oversee special projects and equipment maintenance.
- Plan and supervise new equipment installations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Preferred: Technical or college degree.
- 5+ years in production maintenance and staff supervision (winemaking preferred).
- Knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration/HVAC preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience with SQF, ISO, and LEAN manufacturing preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean record.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Background in fabrication, welding, electrical, plumbing, or auto repair preferred.
- Moderate to heavy physical work.
- Work at various company facilities.
- Stand for long periods (8 hours/day).
- Comply with safety equipment requirements.
- Exposure to chemicals, machinery, and production equipment.
- Long and irregular hours during peak periods.
- Extensive walking and lifting up to 55 pounds.
Swing shift: 1pm - 9:30pm
