Individual performs experiments in research laboratory to produce research data. Assist Principal Investigator with mouse breeding, experiments, assays and data collection. Perform dissections ,biomedical/biochemical analysis, cell culture, molecular biology techniques.
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Highly proficient skills maintaining mice colonies, time-pairing for embryonic dissections, and genotyping
  • Proficient in dissection and culture of embryonic mouse tissue, QRT-PCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and cell culture techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and prioritize work assignments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
  • Working knowledge of statistical programs
  • Ability to work pro-actively and independently
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in molecular biology techniques
