Lab Research Technician

The Laboratory Research Technician position performs laboratory research in the fields of biochemistry and cell biology related to membrane-active peptides. Assists in day-to-day lab operations while working on independent research projects. Coordinates and conducts experiments and carries out research projects in varied areas of biochemistry and cell biology. Training in relevant experimental techniques will be provided.• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work with mice on a daily basis

• Ability to multi-task, and prioritize work assignments

• Ability to work independently on projects under the supervision of the PI

• Ability to lean and perform basic tissue culture techniques

• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and maintain good working relationships

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
OR

• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
