MiHousing is seeking one Full-time AmeriCorp Members to serve as an Outreach Specialist from September 30th, 2024 through September 26th, 2025. Member Duties : Conduct intact resident survey assessments and develop a service plan when required. Type reports according to resident feedback the development of individual needs assessment, plans, or referrals. Maintain files related to Resident Service Program. Attend lease signing with new residents & property managers to introduce the MiSide Resident Service Program. Assist with intakes to assess household needs of the tenant/client. Assist with independent living skills related to address income & housing stabilization needs. Gather and disperse food, clothing donations or other household goods to tenants. Assess and make referrals for the appropriate supports or services to empower residents to live as independently as possible; follow up and track resident engagement services/referrals provided to determine outcomes and satisfaction. Conduct quarterly surveys to determine resident interest and needs. Utilize the information to amplify access to identified interest and needs.
