We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer with a background in working with the Department of Defense (DoD) or related government agencies. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java programming and a solid understanding of software development methodologies. This role will involve working on various projects related to defense and national security, contributing to the development of critical systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and systems.
2. Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.
3. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
4. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs.
5. Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and performance of applications.
6. Contribute to the improvement of existing software development processes and methodologies.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
8. Adhere to security guidelines and standards to ensure compliance with DoD regulations and protocols.
9. Document code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.
10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.
