Piper Companies is seeking a IT Security Engineer to join a company located in Greensboro, NC .

  • Both server and end user versions of Windows, Linux, AIX
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Routing, VLANs, ACLs, OSI Model and its practical application
  • Advanced firewall management including NGFW capabilities (Fortinet preferred)
  • E-Mail flow and security technologies
  • Encryption methodologies and standards
  • Standard infrastructure network services (AD,DHCP,DNS,AAA,LDAP, NAC, SMTP)
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with at least one of: ISO27001, PCI-DSS, HITRUST, SOC, NIST
  • Cybersecurity attack methodologies (Phishing, XSS, MITM, Etc.)
  • Azure security tooling
  • Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, SCIM
  • AD CS and PKI
  • At least one scripting language (PowerShell preferred)
  • Security tooling for: Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, IAM/IGA, PAM


Salary : $115,000

Location : Greensboro, NC or Remote, EST
