Job Responsibilities:
• Administrative:
o Schedule, attend, record, take notes, and disseminate the minutes for HFHL meetings as needed
o Coordinate and schedule CFANS graduate student researchers, staff and faculty presentations at Cargill College Awareness Program partner high schools
o Assist in writing brief reports about program activities
o Edit, proof and finalize reports and grants as needed
o Document creation as needed
o Support Native American nutrition conference as needed
o Administer grant programs as needed
• Representing HFHL: Serve as liaison with all partner organizations
• Website development and maintenance
o Update and maintain the HFHL website
o Create a Cargill College Awareness Program page on the HFHL website
• Communication:
o Communicate with HFHL email lists
o Communicate with advisory board members
o Send communications related to the Cooking for Wellness Classes
o Check the HFHL email account and voicemails three times per week and respond or forward them to Prof. Kurzer as needed.
o Work with CFANS and U of M communications professionals to advertise HFHL programs
o Communicate with Cargill College Awareness Program partner high schools throughout academic year and assist in scheduling CFANS visits
• Tracking and analyzing data:
o Track grant outcomes and impacts
o Keep track of and write reports summarizing HFHL budgets and major activities
Qualifications:
BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years. Strong demonstrated organizational, project management and communication skills. Experience with web design/updating, writing, event planning, organizing meetings, creating and implementing online surveys, and working with budgets.
