The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to hire a Non-Student Short-Term Casual to work in the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE). The candidate will provide support to Dr. Mary Beth Terry, Director, and the COE faculty and staff, as needed. The candidate will support ongoing community education and cancer risk reduction efforts through program assessment and evaluation, regulatory support, and generating reports and literature reviews. The candidate will also assist in drafting manuscripts and educational materials, disseminate health communication, and support the development and implementation of relevant programming and research.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Handling program assessment and evaluation.
  • Drafting literature reviews and educational materials.
  • Assisting with management of ongoing projects.
  • Assisting with community engagement and outreach.
  • Performing data analysis;disseminating health communication and supporting the development and implementation of relevant programming and research.
  • Performing other duties as assigned and/or directed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
  • Program evaluation experience.
  • Experience with public health interventions especially within underserved communities.
  • Familiarity with data management and analysis are preferred.
