The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Department of Colorectal Surgery is looking for Short Term Casual (Non-Student). Incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct literature searches to aid research projects.
  • Manage data and uphold file organization.
  • Assess study budgets.
  • Document task or study-related data.
  • Assist in data collection, presentation preparation, and manuscript proofreading.
  • Gather necessary research documentation and fulfill other relevant duties to support the research study's operation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalency certificate, technical training or equivalency, and some related laboratory experience, usually six months
  • 6 months of related experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced level MS Office skills.

Other Requirements
  • Familiarity with clinical trial workflow and general medical terminology
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-through of assigned projects
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
  • Ability understand and adhere to compliance policies
  • Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and faculty
  • Work requires manual dexterity for handling charts and using office equipment - specifically the use of a computer keyboard and calculator. Must be able to stoop and bend to retrieve files and supplies, and sit, stand or move around for extended periods of time.
