Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
To support the Division of Anatomic Pathology, Department of Pathology, by performing technical and administrative support tasks. Responsible for interacting with physicians, hospital staff and ancillary departments regarding the accuracy of transcribed reports.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 2 years customer service experience.
2. Working knowledge of computer technology.
3. Adaptability and ability to multi-task.
4. Medical terminology is required.
5. Use of good grammar and punctuation.
6. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma.
2. One year of laboratory related experience is preferred.
