Full-time, career position in the Service Technical Operations department as an Operations Lead focusing on Warranty, Policy, and Compliance development. This position will be located in the Fremont, CA office and collaborating with a global team.

Responsibilities
  • Research, develop, and implement comprehensive compliance programs to ensure global adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Create policies, procedures, guidelines, and communications to promote a culture of compliance
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks and prevent potential violations
  • Manage and investigate compliance incidents, breaches, and complaints. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities as required
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and business partners to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of compliance activities, incidents, and audits. Generate compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities to demonstrate adherence to requirements
  • Research and lead development of vehicle Warranties including collaborating with stakeholders and partners
  • Lead discussions, including with senior leadership and executive teams, to formulate and implement policies, including documentation and communications to field partners


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Strong attention to detail, personal organization, collaboration, and time management with proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (such as JIRA, Wrike, SharePoint, and custom databases)
  • Demonstrated experience with analytical decision-making such as conducting cost-benefit analyses
  • Ability to be creative and open-minded in order to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging work environment with very tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Experience working in the automotive world, especially within Operations or Program Management organizations, with a passion for the technology, electric vehicle, and automotive industries
  • Comfortable working under ambiguous circumstances with a drive to provide structure to projects with no precedent

    • Expected Compensation

      $80,000 - $186,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

      Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
