Oracle HR Payroll Business Analyst

Open to: Contract (Potential for CTH)

Length of contract: 12-15 months

Pay -$40-45 hr w2 on contract and 85-90k/year on full time

The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.

Responsibilities
  • Process Design/Business Analysts
  • Day-to-day/The Project: They aren't running payroll but supporting the payroll team under HR and IT. They will help trouble shoot some ongoing issues that they are having with the other contractor techno functional Analysts. They will go to oracle support and review tickets to see if they can find other issues to support their issues they are experience at client location

    Skills/Qualifications/Backgrounds:

    Ideally this person could be Business Analyst with Oracle Payroll background and knows how it works on Oracle and its configurations, Fast Formulas and help with the business.

    This person could also be a supervisor/manager of a company that is already using Oracle Payroll (Oracle cloud payroll manager of payroll dept.) that is interested in consulting that has Software usage in background.

    Has experience with ADP Software, worked with MS dynamics payroll Software.

    Has experience dealing with setting up vacations and dealt with people going on vacation and the payrolling piece of this. They need to understand how to pay people in a payroll office and has been a supervisor from onboarding vacation firing to making sure they get benefits, retirement, etc.

    They understand all these details of multiple pay roll periods (by weekly monthly bimonthly)

    This person needs to be someone with illustrated experience process mapping problems and can have an approach of problem solving and do the business process solutioning by asking questions and truly helping troubleshoot the issues.

    Able to come in and solve real world problems Client is currently experiencing such as: Vacation approvals are not carrying forward effectively. The dollars are not adding up during payroll period and rollover hours to each year, how do you trouble shoot this? Can you look at a fast formula to review hard coding?

TOP Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong focus on Oracle Payroll
  • Needs to know the application technically
  • Able to troubleshoot in Oracle Payroll
  • Be the functional liaison between IT and HR
  • Develop testing plans
  • Able to help with configuration
  • Higher education experience
  • Specifically in implementing ERP systems in higher education institutions
