Paper Mill Engineering Co-op - Winter 2025 - 8 month term preferred - 4 month term potentially available

The Paper Mill Engineering Co-op will be based out of Macon, Georgia (1897 Allen Road, 31216). This is a temporary student position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements

• Enrolled in Engineering Degree: Chemical, and/or Pulp & Paper Science
• Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• The following engineering courses are applicable: Fluid Mechanics, Process Control, Heat and Mass Transfer, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, and Statistics
• The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
• Plan and implement units of product quality
• Perform continuous assessment of product quality
• Assist team to resolve operating problems with process, maintenance, and plant engineering support
• Lead small project in process monitoring, investigation, and optimization
• Conduct statistical studies for operation review
• Work closely with production department to improve process and quality
• Follow safe practices at all times
