Job Duties

Catawba Hospital, a 110-bed psychiatric healthcare facility located in the beautiful mountainous region of Roanoke County, is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time Fiscal Technician supporting payroll and timekeeping by preforming various data entry duties. Including but not limited to keying batches in Cardinal HCM, keying information on spreadsheets, keying in Kronos timekeeping system. The position would also assist with other filing and organizing duties for Payroll and Timekeeping. Assist employees as needed with accessing Kronos and Cardinal HCM.

Minimum Qualifications

Business school or an accredited college/university graduate, preferably in accounting or documented experience in payroll, accounting, personal computers and software applications.
Good accounting and computation skills.
Working knowledge of automated payroll and automated accounting systems.
Ability to use personal computers and automated worksheets.

Additional Considerations

Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with others in a professional manner.
