Job Overview:
  • The Patient Care Coordinator will be working in a call center environment and assisting pharmacy customers via phone
  • This organization is looking to get people started as soon as October 21st
  • Pay: 18.00/hr
  • Shift: Must be available Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM for an 8 hour shift

Job Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast paced call center environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Healthcare customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • This position is fully in person

Job Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Shipment Setup:
  • Verify patient information and prescriptions for delivery.
  • Input and confirm method of payment.
  • Process patient information and delivery details using designated systems.
  • Log calls and maintain accurate customer records (e.g., name, date of birth, address, payment method, call notes, shipping details).

Customer Service:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Utilize training materials and manuals to resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
  • Process call requests, including refills, transfers, payments, new prescription requests, and pricing inquiries.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer orders.
  • Research and address billing issues.

Compliance and Ethics:
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Implement action plans to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize the Open Door Policy for addressing concerns.

Work Assignment Management:
  • Complete assignments and prioritize tasks using established policies and resources.
  • Collaborate with managers, colleagues, and business partners to identify priorities and deadlines.
  • Communicate progress and share information effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to changes based on feedback.
