A client of Insight Global is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team in the Clear Lake, TX area. This person will be responsible for processing biweekly payroll for 1,400+ employees in the US and Canada. They will oversee procedures and processes by managing inquiries or requests related to the preparation of and distribution of payroll. This person will prepare and calculate final payments for terminated employees according to state final pay requirements, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, and they will assist in preparing the payroll for all new hires. Lastly, this role will require employee interaction, answering payroll questions, and resolving issues in a prompt, accurate, confidential, and cordial manner.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3 years of multi-jurisdictional US & Canada payroll experience

Experience with ADP Comprehensive Payroll or ADP

Workforce Now

Knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment wage and hour laws

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Confidentiality and employee privacy experience

Associate or bachelor's degree in relative field

Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Workday experience

Data Bridge experience
