Position Summary:

Supports hospital information system server environment.

Reports to System Administrator IT&S.

Essential Functions ?

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting the information system server environment.

• Responsible for the planning, implementing, and supporting of information system virtual environments.

• Responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting all information system backups.

• Responsible for coordinating and implementing scheduled server and client environment updates.

• Assists Support Specialist staff as needed.

• Rotating call schedule for off-hours support.

Qualifications - External

Minimum Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is Required

Bachelor's degree is Required

• Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Knowledge of VMWare and other virtualization environments.

• Experience with backup technologies.

• Knowledge of Cisco environments.

• Knowledge of network concepts.

• Knowledge of server and computer hardware concepts.
