We are seeking a PMO Program Director to lead of our client's Global Lab program, based in San Francisco, CA.
What you'll do
Lead the team responsible for the delivery of the Global Labs standards program.
Serve as the primary Global Labs client contact and client concern point for any staffing, bandwidth or delivery issues.
Facilitate the continued development and improvement of the standards program charter.
Work with the Studio Lead to provide support in assigning resources (dedicated or variable) to the programs.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Provide support in assigning resources to a specific project or program. Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
Train staff and assist with the development of processes and services to support client requests and needs.
Report the status of individuals and groups of projects and programs to Sr. Management.
Oversee cross-functional work from end to end. Initiate the creation of a program charter and coordinated timeline. Ensure all functions remain on schedule, issues get resolved, and the program is completed successfully.
Manage internal, external and vendor relationships in support of the program. May contract and manage vendors.
Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to act while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
Identify and solve multidimensional, sophisticated, operational, and interpersonal problems bringing to bear the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.
Work within broad guidelines and policies. Be able to progress through ambiguity.
Build and distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated timelines.
Must provide appropriate levels of detail, summarize sophisticated issues, and explain sensitive information succinctly.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $155,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $175,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.

What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience Developing and Implementing Design and Engineering Standards, Engineering Labs a plus.
- Relevant professional accreditations are preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
