WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage infrastructure projects in a matrix organization covering a range of functional areas in Silicon Engineering, Platform, Software, Hardware Systems, Sourcing & Operations, and vendors.
  • Drive and manage ASIC development and their subsystems with vendors, from concept to production.
  • Provide hands-on program management during all phases of silicon and firmware development from concept, design, development, fabrication, validation, qualification, and production release phases.
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • Work with the software, hardware, and architecture teams to understand the requirements and constraints.
  • Deliver ASIC solutions and high-quality system products while aligning with product management and Architecture team requirements.

You possess strong interpersonal skills, which are evident in your ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams. Tour organizational strengths are complemented by a track record of leadership and outstanding communication skills, allowing you to multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Additionally, you have demonstrated experience in managing both the granular technical details and the overarching big-picture strategy.

Who You'll Work With: As a Director of ASIC Technical Program Management you'll be interacting with cross-organization functions, such as Software, System, Architecture, and Marketing teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or other technical field and an equivalent experience of 12+ years in the industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in ASIC development or management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or other technical field and 8+ years of experience of industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Program/Product management or Technical/Engineering management with proven leadership in delivering successful products.
  • Prior experience in managing ASIC design flow (architecture, micro-architecture, RTL, Synthesis, functional verification, physical layout etc.)
  • Experience in pre-silicon testing with Emulation, FPGA, and post-silicon validation.

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
