Job description:

In your new role you will:
  • Collecting inputs from the market and translating them into actionable insights to guide the development of new and existing products. You will have a deep understanding of power electronics and the ability to identify trends and customer problems that can be addressed through unique solutions
  • Defining the optimal system value proposition for our products, leveraging your knowledge of different applications such as Solar, EVC, ESS, SMPS, and motor drives
  • Shaping the idea pipeline by using your internal and external network and selecting the most promising ideas for further incubation. You will be responsible for translating system limitations and customer problems into innovative system level solutions, making decisions on architecture tradeoffs, defining quantifiable technical value propositions, and creating collaterals for customer storytelling
  • Leading technical discussions with customers and collecting feedback to coordinate with Infineon's global technical community. You will be responsible for providing 3rd level technical customer support by performing detailed circuit analysis with modelling, simulation, and bench validation to replicate the issue, identify root cause and provide a solution
  • Promoting IFX's power switches, visiting customers, and ensuring design-wins. You will be interfacing globally with different departments such as other marketing functions, R&D, application marketing, and leading technical discussions on power switches and application


Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
  • At least 7 years of working experience in related industries
  • Ideally experience in power electronics industry
  • Deep understanding of IGBTs, Power MOSFETs and their usage
  • PCB design and layout experience as well as experience with electrical simulation tools (e.g. Simetrix, PLECS, ...)
  • Fluency in English

Wage Range that the Company Expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $121,680.00 Salary per year
Maximum of $167,310.00 Salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
