Product Manager - Machine Learning

Job Summary:  

The Product Manager will join the Machine Learning Product Team and partner with multiple cross-functional teams, including software engineering, data science, ML engineering, marketing, and operations, to execute the 2025 strategy. The role involves collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure clear requirements, specifications, and designs for ML-driven products. The Product Manager will prioritize enhancements, track defects, and help deliver cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions in the beauty retail space.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Execute the product roadmap and ensure alignment across key stakeholders  

• Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and prioritize based on business impact  

• Develop partnerships with Developers, UX, and Design teams to address interaction details  

• Manage sprint and board processes in collaboration with Project Management and IT  

• Champion the needs of business and marketing teams, developing detailed requirements and partnering with IT for implementation  

• Participate in bug triage and prioritize issues based on impact  

• Attend daily standup meetings and monitor progress on JIRA boards  

• Communicate updates, process changes, and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies  

• Partner with Product Management and business teams to define success metrics and action plans  

Required Qualifications:  

• 2-5+ years of experience in agile product management  

• Demonstrated experience with agile methodology and tools  

• Experience managing product backlogs for ML and personalization features  

• Knowledge of machine learning models, including recommendation systems and customer segmentation  

• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills  

• Ability to identify and understand user problems and propose practical solutions  

• Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks  

• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, Slack, MS Teams, and ZOOM  

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in a retail or eCommerce environment  

• Knowledge of front-end capabilities of e-commerce, mobile apps, and websites  

• Experience building reusable ML solutions at a platform level  

Certifications:  

• BA/BS degree in a related field is required; prior experience in retail/eCommerce is highly preferred
