Product Marketing Manager Intro
The Advice Product Marketing team is responsible for driving growth and retention for Schwab's suite of retail managed accounts and advice offers. We develop marketing campaigns that promote awareness and adoption of these products for clients and prospects, support our financial consultants with sales materials, and manage the ongoing communications experience for clients who enrolled in advice products. This is a high priority set of products, with a high degree of senior leadership focus and exposure, and this team will play a key role in the company's future growth.
Product Marketing Manager Job Details
The Marketing Manager - Advice Products will provide end-to-end management of marketing efforts in support of Schwab's retail managed accounts and advice offers. In this role, the Senior Manager's responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with and, in some cases, lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain actionable strategies and project plans that align with product/business goals. Clearly articulate key details and progress to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Work with product/business partners to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations and implement client-facing and employee-facing communications across multiple marketing channels.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with internal and external creative agencies and lead the creative development of client marketing communications.
• Report on marketing's progress and socialize program results/learnings/implications with partners and senior leadership.
• Ensure that all marketing communications comply with regulatory requirements.
Product Marketing Manager Mandatory Skills
• 5+ years marketing experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Financial services experience preferred
• Excellent marketing program management skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful execution
• Experience executing a wide variety of marketing campaigns including digital content, print, email, and banner advertising
Product Marketing Manager Desired Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following capabilities:
• Demonstrated interest in investment products and the investing industry
• Attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to apply problem-solving skills to deliver sound marketing recommendations that drive business results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with business and marketing partners, and report out on marketing program status
• Leadership and relationship-building skills, including the ability to build consensus with key partners, work effectively in a cross-functional/highly matrixed organization, and manage by influence
