Insight Global is looking for a Production Engineer to join their team in Freeport, Texas. This Production Engineer will be working with 4 teams consisting of 6 people on each team made up of technicians and engineers. They will be joining the world class manufacturing unit focused on daily operations supporting production including optimization, root cause failure analysis, and compliance. This person will act as both a mentor and leader to the other members on the team within the daily operations space. They will provide technical and leadership support to meet production targets, troubleshoot and assist the daily production execution team, and identify and support implementation of lean opportunities. They will also support the Technology Group in implementing plant trials, alongside monitor and provide guidance for plant goals, objectives, and operational budgets. In addition, they will also serve as a Unit Contact for production and environmental reporting, permits, and agreements. This candidate will deal with Capital Projects, MOCs, and troubleshooting daily. An example of a typical troubleshoot could be if a pump is not working, they would go to the field and asses what the problem is and how to fix it, alongside work with the maintenance team to get a new pump in. This candidate should have a team player attitude, have the ability to be a leader and mentor when needed, have a continuous growth and improvement mindset, and be aware of safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all.
The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering (Mechanical or general engineering is fine, but chemical is preferred)
5-7+ years of out of school engineering experience (with a preference in utility engineering / chemical manufacturing facilities)
Strong knowledge of wastewater background
A background working for a utilities or solar company, battery farms, or renewable energy company as a principle energy
Strong understanding and troubleshooting knowledge in the daily operations space focusing on optimization, root cause failure analysis, and compliance
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Familiarity with MOCs and Capital Projects
Team player attitude and leadership/ mentoring skills
Someone who wants to grow and has a continuous improvement mindset
