Summary
The Program Assistant II works within the Research Education & Training (RET) office at Moffitt Cancer Center. The mission of RET is to become a training destination for cancer research with a world-wide reputation for facilitating career advancement in cancer related fields. The Program Assistant II will contribute to our mission by supporting the Offices of Postdoctoral Affairs, Graduate Affairs, and Undergraduate/Visiting Scholar Affairs.
Position Summary:
Organizes and maintains program policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains documents related to the programs, and produces and organizes various reports for the program to which they are assigned.

Position Summary:
Organizes and maintains program policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains documents related to the programs, and produces and organizes various reports for the program to which they are assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Organizes and coordinates high-level collaborative meetings, seminars, retreats, and workshops. May solicit speakers (including international) for the program.
- Assists with administrative support for the program members. Make travel arrangements, itineraries, orders food, supplies etc.
- Coordinates professional calendars, monitors/updates daily schedules.
- Assists with purchasing and coordinating needs across the program. Creating PO's, check requests, travel reimbursements.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High School diploma required, Associate's degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of administrative experience. Word processing experience required.
- Knowledge of webpage and social media applications preferred.
