Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical and cross-functional projects and programs in Operations. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

Key job responsibilities

- Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.

- Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.

- Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.

- Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.

- Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.

- Develop, implement, and oversee reporting for program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

- Communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders as needed to support key business initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

- Bachelor's degree

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA or Master's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, operations research, or business analytics field.

- 3+ years of professional supply chain and logistics, operations research, and/or e-commerce experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
