We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Project Management Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating estimating, procurement, planning, and controls efforts for our Project Management team. Additionally, the role involves developing and analyzing metrics, as well as managing processes to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of PM activities.

Responsibilities:

Estimating Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project estimates, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on estimate accuracy and variances throughout the project lifecycle.

Procurement Coordination:
  • Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, and contract development.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services required for projects.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Planning and Controls Coordination:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
  • Implement and oversee project controls to monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Metric Development and Analysis:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance and PMO effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on metric analysis.

Process Management:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize PM processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor and evaluate existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on PM processes and tools.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a liaison between the PM team, project teams, and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during project execution.


Basic Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in project management, with a focus on estimating, procurement, planning, and controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and interpret complex metrics and data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Project Management environment.
  • Advanced degree in a related field.
