Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Management Specialist 2 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Long Beach, CA.

*This position is HYBRID, 4 days onsite, Friday remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans. Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case. Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules. Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team. Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Scheduling Software - MS Project, Primavera, and/or Open Plan Professional
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Solid understanding of Industry Scheduling standards - PMIBOK
- Resource Labor experience

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flexibility & Open Minded
- Commercial Aerospace Experience
- Experience with mult projects in size and complexity

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically
3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years'
related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
