Title: Project Manager/Business Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12-18 Months (Possible convert to full-time)
A hybrid option is available at the start.
Pay rate: Best in the segment on W2.

Job Description:
Skills/Experience:
Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and execute project plans for data-related initiatives within the financial services domain.
  • Develop reports / flashcards for Senior Management on different metrics
  • Strong experience in managing delivering work pipeline with a team of developers and product owners end to end - requirements to release.

Requirements Management
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements and driving solutions end to end
  • Experience in writing the requirements in detail using stories and acceptance criteria on JIRA board.
  • Creating and prioritizing the backlog with users.
  • Tracking the JIRA through complete SDLC cycle from development to production and collaborating with developers, QAs to ensure they understand the requirements correctly and completely.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor and Tracking different work products and work streams across different cross-functional teams
  • Effectively communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders.

Data Skills:
  • Must have strong SQL skills to independently analyze, document and verify broad and granular changes to new and existing data logic in databases
  • Must be able to write complex SQL queries to review and analyze logic and advise users and developers to modify and enhance.
  • Must be able to draw inferences out of data to demonstrate potential metrics and summary notes for users , developers and testers.

SDLC Experience
  • Work with Scrum masters and PMOs to effectively ingest new requirements, monitor and track progress, issues risks across multiple work streams
  • Working with QA team to draft test scenarios and ensuring that stories are tested against acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborating with users to get the stories tested and signed off.
  • Ensuring that the signed off stories are released to prod by working closely with release coordinator.

Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management , Business Analysis , Data Analysis in financial services domain
  • Works effectively and individually with Technical and Non-Technical team members and users
  • Strong professional work ethic, flexible, reliable, can work individually or within a team.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and responsible for delivery on time.
