Scope of Work:

The Project Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of the contract activities and areas of responsibility on the NAS JAX project site.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the successful execution of the contract, ensuring all performance objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with the client, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships with Navy representatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all maintenance and support activities are carried out effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize contract performance and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Safety Manager for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address challenges or underperformance.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, progress, and performance metrics to corporate leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a team of site supervisors and technical personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure contract goals are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains to maximize operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and practices on-site.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Consistently produces quality products and service.
  • Completes all training within required timeline.
  • Performs all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited University preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • 5 years' experience with regulatory compliance, including OSHA, EPA and the FAR
  • Available to be on site between 0700 - 1600 Monday through Friday, apart from major holidays.
  • Perform on-call duties within one hour, 24/7/365, except during scheduled leave.
  • Proven supervisory skills in directing customer-focused teams for facilities services.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and work management systems like Maximo.
  • Ability to manage staff activities in planning and scheduling maintenance and repairs.
  • Must obtain and use a government-issued common access card (CAC) and maintain worksite access.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills with a professional attitude.
  • Able to handle sensitive information and manage complex administrative and contract matters.
  • Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in teams.
  • Capable of working under tight deadlines in a high-volume, multi-priority environment.
  • Physically fit for labor, able to work outdoors in all weather, and meet driver and safety requirements.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check
