Koch Global Services (KGS) is seeking a Project Manager to add to their growing project management organization. The project manager will define the scope and objectives of a project in collaboration with the project stakeholders. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of project outcomes and goals. They will monitor the progress of the project, makes any necessary adjustments, and reviews the quality of the completed work on a regular basis. This individual will support moderately complex to highly complex projects ranging from infrastructure to applications-based IT projects.

This will be an in-office opportunity located in either Wichita or Atlanta

What You Will Do
  • Define the project charter, roles, tasks, milestones, costs, and measures of success
  • Assist in developing project estimates and plans to manage the end-to-end project execution
  • Ensure client requirements are captured accurately and completely
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Track project deliveries using project management tools
  • Facilitate the day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and sponsor expectations
  • Ensure project closure including completion of required documentation in data repository and customer follow up
  • Responsible for tracking project status and managing project issues and risks
  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress/quality, managing issue resolution
  • Identify & effectively manage key dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage the process to assess gaps and develop action plans to address these gaps
  • Analyze financial reports and trends to identify opportunities and resolve issues
  • Monitor financial delivery and issue management processes, and escalate issues
  • Promote and monitor compliance and information security risk
  • Responsible for building and leading effective project teams
  • Using problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and independent thinking to overcome challenges
  • Adapting to cultural and organizational climates across global teams
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
  • Conduct regular status meetings with project team
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to leaders and stakeholders
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential
  • Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner
  • Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members
  • Mitigate team conflict and communication problems


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience managing relationships across multiple business divisions to meet project deliverables
  • Experience managing IT projects from conception to completion
  • Experience managing Infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience facilitating project meetings
  • Proven ability to drive results
