Project Manager - Risk Remediation

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Project Manager to lead a large-scale, firm-wide risk remediation project. This role is crucial in ensuring our institutions compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing our risk management framework. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and support for risk remediation initiatives.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management. Maintain detailed project documentation, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and progress updates.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all risk remediation activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.

5-7 years of project management experience, with a focus on risk management or compliance projects within the financial services industry.

Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.

Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.
