Primary Job Responsibility:
  • Leadership of project procurement functions, including purchasing, administration, expediting and vendor document control, for a small to medium size project or operating group
  • Establishes and implements effective procurement management leadership, systems, methods and procedures for the project or group
  • Participates in or leads supply management strategy development and implementation
  • Provides guidance on procurement management matters to project team. May participate in internal and external supply management presentations
  • Commits, spends and controls client and company dollars within limits established in company procedures. Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures
  • Supervises procurement staff assigned to the operation


Training and Experience:
  • BBA, BA, or BS
  • Must have previous Saudi Aramco project working experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • No certification required, C.P.M. desirable
  • 8 - 10 yrs. minimum in supply management or related field, with specific experience in procurement management

  • Works with Operations Management to plan and support Supply Management execution for the operation. Coordinates with Project Management, Construction Management, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Insurance during project execution
  • Reasonable command of commercial terms and conditions
  • Assists with development of advanced standards
  • Approaching discipline expert skill sets
  • Demonstrates capacity to solve complex problems
  • Consults with Department management on critical project execution challenges

Technical/ Professional Competences:
  • Overall Knowledge of Worley Business: Understands major technical, organizational, managerial, and business issues related to operations management. Extensive knowledge of commercial procurement laws, practices, and standards as they relate to Worley operations management and project delivery. Understands and is committed to Worley Core Values.
  • Project Delivery Knowledge: Understands project delivery processes (i.e., program management, construction management, CM/GC, design, design-build, design-bid-build) and their relationship to supply management delivery
  • Resources/Capabilities: Understands overall corporate resources and capabilities. Has working knowledge of division or regional operations, and of experience, staff and capabilities in region's markets and operating areas of responsibility
  • Communications: Has strong communications skills both written and verbal. Is able to effectively author contractual commitment documents, as well as internal and external communications, proposals and reports. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project, and construction management. Must communicate effectively in order to organize others and motivate them to achieve
  • Systems: Uses personal computer in support of supply management including Supply Management software, electronic mail, and standard desktop software
