HDR is looking for a Project Support Specialist to join our Power Delivery team in our Orlando office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide overall project administration and support in the evolution of our projects
  • Provide broad project assistance for a highly skilled team of cross-sector professionals
  • Work in an interactive environment with business and technical staff to ensure a high degree of collaboration in support of a successful overall solution
  • Manage project quality, time and effort measures
  • Coordinate project team events
  • Facilitate project agenda and meeting documentation
  • Support members of the project management office in any manner required
  • Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management
  • Coordinate meetings and assist with presentations
  • Provide document control and take ownership in database organization, checking drawings in and out for project teams, and support through the project submittal process.
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Works cooperatively with diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant on project teams and part of our employee-owned culture is a must

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 1 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
