Piper Companies is looking for a Proposal Manager/Coordinator to join a company specializing in MEP Solutions (mechanical, electrical, plumbing). This is full-time position and hybrid job in Norfolk, VA.

Essential Duties of the Proposal Manager:

• Analyze RFPs to prepare proposal outlines, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Work with staff to develop standard and complex proposals, presentation materials, and other marketing efforts.
• Assist in developing pursuit plans and client outreach activities ahead of RFP release.
• Maintain scheduling and tracking systems for pursuit and proposal elements.
• Facilitate corporate marketing and proposal development processes, including go/no-go decisions, marketing strategies, and the production of complex technical proposals.
• Utilize the Deltek Vision database to maintain company and contact information, opportunity tracking, project information, and resumes.

Qualifications of the Proposal Manager:

• 2-6+ years of proposal experience
• Experience with InDesign for proposal creation and tracking.
• Experience in relevant industries such as MEP, engineering, architecture, HVAC, or engineering firm.
• CPSM cert is preferred but not required (Certified Professional Services Marketer)
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation for the Proposal Manager:

• 60,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
