Job Summary

The Provider Systems Analyst supports Provider Data Base, CRM and contract systems with Provider Services. Develops and maintains system requirements. Identifies and designs process improvement opportunities by defining and analyzing system problems. Implements testing standards and solutions to help organization operate more efficiently and effectively.

Education & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Systems Analysis, or an equivalent of education and work experience
• 3 years of systems analysis experience to include understanding of software design, testing, and maintenance
• If supporting TRICARE contract, must be a U.S. Citizen
• If supporting TRICARE contract, must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
• Experienced in interpreting business requirements and developing efficiency solutions

Preferred:

• Health care or provider systems application support experience

Key Responsibilities

• Discuss users' needs and determine vulnerabilities or areas of poor performance impacting productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot, test, and coordinate resolution of reported software defects and/or data issues while providing status to affected teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and documentation, coordinating development and deployment.
• Create strategies for improvement while also being proactive in evaluating application software.
• Provide feedback, data mappings, and/or best practices to development teams based on existing development solutions, standard business processes, and vendor recommendations. Maintain provider system changes, improvements, testing and communications to system users.
• Establish standard procedures and document system workarounds for commonly reported issues experienced by support staff.
• Structure and prioritize business requirements for communication with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Liaison with multiple business partners including but not limited to Application Owners, Business Analysts, Project Leads, IT and Data Management to promote collaboration of system development.
• Provide subject matter expertise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Technical Skills: Apply a logical approach to problem solving; good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail; business awareness; a methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind.

• Must be available to cover any work shift
• Works within an office environment with minimal travel required
