Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client is looking to fill the role of Quality Assurance Specialist. This position will be located on site in the Fairfield.

Responsibilities:

• Organize documents in document control room as well as identify and communicate any gaps in documentation.
• Responsible for performing internal audits.
• Perform environmental monitoring activities - install, write SOPs and operate the Met One in production area for particulate monitoring.
• Review all calibration documentation and identify any gaps.
• Review vendor qualification and identify gaps.
• Revise temperature monitoring of the warehouse in practice and in SOP
• Perform GMP and other training for chemists, operators and new QA personnel.
• Help to establish QA control over documentation such as QC analytical worksheets.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in a scientific discipline preferred
• Prior pharmaceutical QA experience (5+ years)
• Strong GMP understanding
• Prior audit experience
• Relevant Quality Management System knowledge to assist with various projects
• Met One environmental monitoring system experience is a +
