How You'll Perform the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Will continuously conduct bag comparison and testing during designated shift.
2. Examines product to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company's production standards.
3. Verifies specified dimensions and durability of bags.
4. Will conduct random testing on finished products and report findings.
5. Will constantly check bag quality of all lines by using various testing methods such as dart, water and dry testing.
  1. Will occasionally perform labor functions as needed.
  2. May perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Such activities include: ability to reach over head, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift boxes of 60 lbs or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a 12 hour shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously for 12 hours; intense walking is involved; able to tolerate working environment with inside excessive hot and cold temperatures.


What We Need From You

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in food packaging industry preferred
  • Knowledge of a manufacturing environment
  • Computer skills - Outlook, Excel, and Word, opening network files
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
  • Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
