An aerospace employer is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team remotely aligned to Eastern Standard Time. This is open due to an additional need for support as the company focuses on cloud deployments, migrations, and increased cloud and DevOps capabilities and sustainment overall. This resource will be part of a project team focused on deploying Ignition SCADA. Currently, all ignition code is being passed around as files, and they will be moving everything to the cloud, with Azure being the primary focus. They will also be moving from Jenkins for CI/CD to GitHub Actions. This Cloud DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating Azure-based infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployment processes. They will tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager templates for automate and manage Azure-based infrastructure. They will also be responsible for monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability on Azure, and troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related system issues. They will need to ensure security and compliance standards are met across the Azure infrastructure throughout this process. This resource will work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to optimize and maintain the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Azure cloud systems.

Tasks Needed:
1. Maintain current DevSecOps Pipeline and agent node
2. Update pipeline script to reflect XETA migration and remove MVP references
3. Keep all the expired packages up to date those raised by cyber scanning tools and some registered in risk registry
4. Create pipeline for Ignition deployment (specially keeping all the nodes in sync that are behind load balancer) and set standard and train all the developers
5. Enhance git sync and resolve some open issues left by Deloitte DevOps engineer

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience within Cloud Engineering focused on Azure
8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong expertise with GitHub, specifically GitLab or GitHub Actions a plus
Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure
Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
