About the Role:

Reporting to the Vice President- Firm Services, you will be a vital connection between members in public accounting firms and the leadership of the Association. You will help foster the success of firms by developing and maintaining relationships and supporting engagement with important segments of the profession, including many of the top 500 firms below the Big 4, leaders in Firm Associations and Networks, the AICPA Town Hall Community and State Society leaders. You will engage with members and liase with volunteer committees to contribute to the development of firm practice management projects guided by Private Company Practice Section (PCPS). You will monitor issues affecting the profession and members' top concerns, then lead in identifying solutions and opportunities.

You Will:
  • Develop programs for engagement with firms that are estimated to be #105 to 500 by size (the Group of 400 or G400) including executing the annual community meeting, leadership update calls, ad hoc topical calls, ongoing communication touchpoints and exploring other opportunities.
  • Collaborate with a team focused on delivering enriching and value journeys and applying insights from volunteers, other Association teams including executive leadership and important partners in the profession
  • Develop targeted firm practice management content and tools for PCPS members to help transform the business model of firms.
  • Guide strategic ongoing communication touchpoints and engagement opportunities to facilitate relationship building with key members such as state societies firm associations and networks
  • Support AICPA Town Hall growth and satisfaction rates by providing content for the semi-monthly events, identifying relevant agenda items, resources and follow up for newsletters.
  • Engage with broader audiences about important professional issues through podcasts, public speaking, AICPA Town Hall and other channels.
  • Manage up to 2 direct reports
  • You Have:
  • 7 - 8 years' experience in a CPA or professional services firm or a Firm Administrator working at a CPA firm
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA designation
  • Relevant experience at the Association or a State CPA Society
