The Repair Technician will handle in-house repairs of Omron products, covering core technologies such as Motion products, PLCs, HMIs, Barcode systems, Vision systems, Safety equipment, and Automation products. They will be completing component level repairs on the circuit boards. In the Dallas repair center, the role involves assisting the supervisor with daily operations, performing repairs on , and engaging in both structured and unstructured troubleshooting. Responsibilities include completing repair documentation, certifying tests, performing board-level and mechanical repairs, interpreting schematics, and maintaining OMRON test equipment. The technician will also assess product reparability, complete standard test procedures, and provide regular updates to the customer and Service Delivery Manager. Representing OMRON's Guiding Principles in interactions with employees, distributors, and colleagues is essential. The team consists of four members, and initial training will be provided for the first week. Post-training, duties include receiving RMAs, initiating repairs, and communicating with customers and across the business. The role is divided into 50% technical work on the test bench, 30% researching, reporting, documenting, and 20% communication. Continuous improvement in processes, documents, and reports is encouraged.

Bachelor's degree in any engineering field

Certification in soldering

Advanced motion experience (Delta Tau)
