Responsibilities
- Responsible for research data plan for grant proposal and ongoing research data support including storage, analysis, transmission, and data sharing strategies.
Provides statistical and graphical analyses and reporting of data. Responsible for the development, assessment, and dissemination of research data, to ensure it is correct and presented in a logical, consistent manner for timely dissemination to college, university and external stakeholders. Assist in Grants Compliance submission and reports to funding agencies. Assist grants compliance analysts with data for budgeting and reporting, creating budget and data templates for grant submissions and award reporting to Principal Investigator(s), stakeholders and grant funders. - Coordinates with the College's Information Technology team (and FSU's ITS team) to ensure technology best practices are implemented for grants. Role includes grant IT purchasing (software/hardware), IT support of grant research software, IT grant technology tracking/reporting, and IT training for faculty/staff.
- Coordinates with CCI Research to assist in Grants Compliance submission and reports to funding agencies. Assist Research Team with data for budgeting and reporting; assist Research Team with monitoring the progress of research activities; develops and maintains records of research activities; and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by research team, faculty and the Dean.
- Coordinates and assesses IT administrative, programmatic, and operational activities of Faculty research. This position will assist the Principal Investigator, project leads, and project teams with all aspects of technology required for research by coordinating and supporting daily operation of projects, internal grants, and centers/labs. Ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research support; acts as the primary IT point of contact for internal research staff.
- Develop and design the reports and dashboards for research data analysis of grants and grant submissions to support faculty, students, and staff to reliably use a variety of IT services and applications to increase research submissions. Streamline processes and procedures to ensure all IT research services can leverage services, data, reports and dashboards for increased grant success.
